Francoa sonchifolia is a dainty choice for a patio planter, edging herbaceous borders or underplanting shrubs and roses. It has evergreen, scalloped and crinkled foliage borne in neat rosettes that develop into spreading clumps. From June to August, slender stems bear elegant, wand-like racemes of pale pink to white flowers streaked with darker pink. The pretty flowers have been traditionally cultivated for use in flower arrangements and wedding posies. In autumn, the foliage often turns red, offering an additional season of interest. Height: 80cm (31in). Spread: 45cm (18in).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
