Polystichum Polyblepharum

Polystichum proliferum is an Australian native fern with the ability to create wondrous colonies! When a frond touches the soil, or a bud drops from its arching leaves, a new plant will spring up. The arching fronds are finely cut and create graceful dark green silhouettes. Also known as the Mother Shield Fern, this hardy perennial thrives in damp, shaded areas and makes superb textural groundcover for woodland areas and moist borders. Height and spread: 60cm (24″).
